π©βπ³ How to Prepare (5-Minute Magic)
- In a wide bowl, add 50g Millet Muesli and wash lightly with water. Drain completely for perfect texture.
- Chop onions finely (use 2 for extra flavor), and carrots into small pieces.
- In a pan, add oil and mustard seeds. When it splutters, add peanuts (optional) and onions. SautΓ© till translucent.
- Add red chili powder, Β½ tsp cumin powder, ΒΌ tsp turmeric powder, and salt. Add Β½ tsp garam masala if desired.
- Cook spices for 1 minute on low heat, careful not to burn.
- Add the drained millet flakes and mix well.
- Lower flame, add lemon juice, and stir thoroughly.
- Mix in carrots and peas if using; cook 1 more minute.
- Transfer to serving bowl, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut.
- Serve immediately hot.
NOTE: This Millet Muesli Upma tastes best when served hot for maximum crunch and flavor.
